Flying gliders at the Foreshores with Anne Hutton

At last the rain has stopped and we could take our glider planes to fly at the jetty foreshores. The boys made good use of the big space to run and throw their planes high , they caught the wind and looped the loop many times.

An unexpected attraction was the huge digger pulling up piles of concrete and smashing it up. Just the sort of  things boys love to watch. As a special treat for our first excursion in a long long time we headed for the ice cream van that was parked next to the digger.

So much running and climbing (we hit the exercise equipment and the big rock wall too) gave the boys lots of upper body workouts.
They should sleep well tonight. So will I 😊
